• Healthcare Setting: Med Surg/Oncology (24-bed unit)\n
• Shift: 7AM – 7PM (12-hour day shifts)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience required\n
• Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred\n
• Chemo certification preferred for oncology jobs\n
• ACLS certification preferred\n
• Strong teamwork and positive attitude\n
• Experience with Meditech EMR charting system a plus\n

\n\nOncology RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology and med surg patients\n
• Administer chemotherapy (if certified) and standard med surg treatments\n
• Monitor patient status and vital signs (VS every 8 hours; remote telemetry patients every 4 hours)\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including charge nurses and care techs\n
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR and iPhone nursing system\n
• Mentor and support new staff members in a team-oriented environment\n
